Awhile back the pres. of the USA went on a tour they called the apology tour. Tomorrow he is going to Pearl Harbor to meet the leader of Japan--Do you suppose our leader will apologize to the Japan's leader for the 29 zeros the sailors and marines shot down during the attack on Pearl Harbor???---Tee

Maybe Japan's leader should show him pictures of cities in Japan either carpet bombed or Nuked by us. Compare those to Detroit, Philly and a few other and ask Barry whose looks more vibrant.

He's going there tomorrow? Will he stay for the Christmas/New Year holiday or... will that be another trip? I didn't realize until today since Air Force One was in the news, every trip they take TWO Air Force One's, one's a decoy/ back up.

All you fellers that buy Honda's, Mitsubishi's, Toyota's and the like are NO different. In fact, quite a few of MY Dad's Generation that weren't Farmers joined and if they were fortunate, got to return home. FWIW, NO Asian vehicle has EVER been welcomed in my drive.

FWIW none of the people who made the decision to attack us in Japan nor any of the Leaders of Nazi Germany are alive today. None of us what to be blamed for the sins of our fathers, so how is it we can hold a grudge against the sons?

The Japanese soldier, sailors and airmen who are still alive were simply following orders that were based on the tenants of their belief system at the time. They didn't come up under our system. And they only knew what they were taught. The punishment they received at the hands of our fathers more than made up for what they did IMO. Our fathers destroyed their military machine (mine fought as an infantry soldier in the South Pacific), sank their navy, shot down their planes, leveled their cities killing thousands of civilians, fire bombed them then dropped not one but 2 nukes on them! And you don't think that was enough?

Referring to the two planes, that is partly right. The name "Air Force One" is the radio call for what ever plane the President* happens to be aboard, whether is one of the 747's, a small craft such as a Piper Cub, or anything in between. "Marine One" is the radio call assigned to any helicopter that the President* is aboard.

*- in this message, the word President is in caps because it refers to the office, not the person holding that office.
