Fox Chopper 4510 Pricing

Sad but not much. Parts availability would be number one concern and there is very little demand for used forage harvesters. In my area you can buy good Deere 3940-3960 harvesters with heads for $1500 to $3000 and New Holland machines are about the same price. More and more small operations are hiring their crops harvested and with Fox no longer being in business the resale has went to almost nothing. Gehl machines are the same way. In their day the Fox was a good machine. Tom

Unless this thing is some sort of perfect and hadn't been used for more than 50 acres,I wouldn't go over it even near $1000. Same reasons as already stated. Parts are hard to find (Hiniker owns what's left, so they can be a little help) and values of any brand just aren't there.

We picked up a nice NH 892 with hay head for $700, and a corn head for another $500. I was surprised it sold at auction for just a touch higher than that a few weeks ago. Guy buying it wanted it for soybean straw. Said he ran a rock through his newer model a year or so ago and caused several thousand in damages. Way more than he paid for this one.
