RR Lund: Round bale feeders

You posted the other day about having trouble with round bale feeders. I looked at the ones we use this morning. They are HW Brand. They are made with four sections that allow them to collapse as the hay is eaten. We have been using them for several years and they seem to hold up well. Look up HW Brand feeders and look under Western "Flex Feeder". I think they are made in Hutchinson, Kansas.

I'll take a look. I bought a used one at an auction one time that was made like that. They eventually started breaking the slant bars out of it though.

Ya,there was one on CL Sunday. By the time I contacted them, they said there was somebody coming to get it yesterday. I'm just scared to death what that plastic would do in below zero weather though.
