Headlights not working

In my 530 case I got a new bulb for one side as the one was broke and was hoping that was my problem but now put the new one in and still nothing I have juice through the bulb and to the ground but the light is still not coming on what could be causing this?

If you have juice thru bulb to ground it will lite check again unless new bulb is faulty but you say you have juice to ground

If you put a meter on the ground side of the bulb and the bulb is good, the meter will indicate voltage. However, the bulb will not light if the ground is open. If this is how you checked it...check the ground. The bulb needs a good ground path back to the battery to light.

It is a posibility that the sheet metal nose cone where the lights are fastened to the chassis groung is not good. Clamp a jumper cable to the grounding wires and attach it to a known good ground.

Go with the old KISS system. Going to feel awful silly when you find the brand new bulb is bad. Have been there.

Some thoughtful time with a multimeter will lead you to the problem. You'll get there.

Had exactly the same problem with my Case backhoe 2 weeks ago. I had voltage reading on the meter. In the end it was just a very ornery ground connection.

You say voltage goes thru the bulb to the ground terminal,so you need take a jumper wire from there to a known good ground.Voltage on the ground terminal indicates bad ground.Basically what I think happened is your ground circuit is not complete due to rust. You can also use a volt/ohm meter to locate the bad ground.Keep following the ground side voltage reading until you lose it,clean that connection, and see if your light works.Mark

Many times on my Farmall I had the same, discovered the ground current could not get back to the battery, all the return paths through the old rusty frame, would not conduct electricity. Ran a separate green ground wire from each light socket, directly to the battery, lights all fixed nw.
