I put together my red neck Yeti koozi
tonight. I saw someone with one last week
and had to have one.

when I was in Boy Scouts
when we went camping we took a similar sized can and a branch and lased it the side for a handle
Hot chocolate container for around the campfire
It's amazing the thing's that can trigger an old memory

Is that a Progresso soup can? Green giant corn? I know, what ever fits. When I was in Scouts everyone went on a binge of making primitive cook wear. Soup cans, #10 can stoves, orange juice cans, all kinds of types and sizes. The little manderin orange slces cans with a little handle soldered on were a perfect fire side size. I had about half a dozen types and was able to nest then inside each other. We went on a camp over in february and it got to -2* that night. Primitive ONLY so NO MATCHES! Flint and steel or bow and spindle. I did bow and spindle. Took me maybe three minutes and had the beginnings of a nice little Teppe fire going. When you are a kid that is a great adventure!

Rural legend says koozi was invented by a redneck with a piece of large pipe insulation (armor flex).
