We have a family reunion near there every year. Big camp out, float trips, funny stories, grandkids, and great grandkids. Pretty area.

When I see a picture like that I always have to think ... if only those walls could talk. Well on second thought that would be scary, but there must be some interesting stories entailed.

That's pretty neat.
Imagine the life that barn has had. The normal daily use when it was housing the animals, crops, equipment that fed a family. I'd like to "flashback" to a day-in-the-life 50 years ago. I bet the scene was different.

Yeah, often when I see an old barn like that I wonder what it was like when a lot of work was done in it and around it. There's a big, beautiful barn about 7 miles from my home like I used to dream of having in my younger days. (about 40 X 100 basement type with the round roofed Rilco laminated rafters, 3 big steel ventilators on top, double drive in bays, tiled block basement walls and milk house with "icecube" windows and a really pretty big tiled silo next to it)....It's just been setting there empty for at least the last 15 years. Slowly being covered by climbing ivy, loosing it's white paint job and the steel roof starting to rust. Fence all shot around the cement barnyard. Good God, what a waste!!!
