Old John Deere Tractor Parts

I have some old John Deere tractor parts that have numbers on them. For instance, I have a large gear that is marked 4257-SC. Does anyone know a good resource to find what they are? Thank you!

Last letter C indicates factory were manure spreaders were built but I can't remember which factory that was.

The Deere spreaders we had were made in Welland, Ontario. I suppose "C" could be for Canada???

Originally spreaders were built at the spreader works in Moline. Spreaders,feed grinders and chuck wagons were built there untill the mid to late 1960's. Tom
