thought I would post you a pic of what they had installed in the high dollar new fence,, these were just 2 feet in the ground, the bid spec's called for a 10' post and 4 foot bury for corner and gate posts,,, as you can see they did not follows specs at all,,, and machine driven post works for line posts if they put them in the ground,,, and these sharpened posts are a total joke the way they installed them,, for the last 45 years I have built fence I hand tamp all of my wood posts,, they do not move/lean ect,, everyone of these in this 2 miles of fence are just like these pics show,,, they used a smaller bit to predrill holes then drove them in,,, but the trick is you have to clean out the holes by hand,,, not many people now days for hire know how to do any hand work anymore,,, I will be talking to our County board about this as this should not be my cost to fix all this as I told them the day they put these up what they were doing,, not sure if I already said it or not but they put the concrete around these two when the posts fell over the next day after installing the gates rant over lol
