Not trying to steal the post below, just remembering Dad. The Cubs Manager Joe Maddon had his Dad's baseball cap with him last night for game 7. He tucked it into his belt when the 10th inning started.
I have a T shirt of my Dad's that has a John Deere G on it. I wear it when I go to tractor/threshing shows.
I'm not sure when or where Dad got the shirt or if he ever wore it. We had a G on the farm. Biggest POS my Dad owned. Those were his words, not mine but wear the shirt on occasion to honor Dad.

I still have a dime that fell out of Dads pocket while he was working in the shop just before he past in the tool box of his old Oliver 66. There's also a blue shop rag I put in there too he last used too. Once in awhile I'll find a greet plastic pipe tobacco pouch turn up when we're working the fields that he had too that I'll always pick up as a personal reminder of him.

It's the little things that mean a lot to us that remind us of our Dads. There is a coffee can in his old 54 truck that has a few tools. It's still in the same place on the floor board where he kept it. Stan

The smell of cotton gin trash burning in the fall of the year. Always reminds me of when I was a little boy in elementary school. The school was just behind the gin. EPA doesn"t allow the burning of gin trash anymore.
