Sandblasting media

Anyone use the black diamond media from tsc? Curious how well it works.

Check that the size of the media fits your nozzle and that the size of the nozzle matches the size of your compressor. I once
bought some media that was too large for my noxxle. Disappointing.

I works way better than sand and is only a dollar or two more per bag. However, it may give you a rougher finish than you want.

I use it in my cabinet with good results. As mentioned, it is cheap.

I did the same thing, to big of media. I have 12 - 14 bags I can't use. Been sitting in the corner for 10 years in my way. I should put it on Craig's List.

Yes works great. I can dump my blaster in a mater of minuets and swap out to another media if needed for soft metals. My biggest expense is the window...

I looked at the Black Diamond at our local farm store. Didn't like the price. I'll just stay with the silica sand. It's all I've ever used in my cabinet blaster. Works great, and is economical.
