Chopping Stalks....

Son finished harvest last week and started chopping corn stalks yesterday. I took the gator out and took some pictures. The chopper is a Deere and the disc is a old BWA. Before son took over I had the same outfit but had a Artsway chopper. Son didn't like the Artsway and bought a Deere. I lengthened the hitch on the disc so you can turn sharper. It is a good load for the 4630! He runs it in B1 and it makes it talk. The only reason we pull the disc is to tip the BT stalks before we chisel plow them . They are hard on tires.-----------Tee

When I was a kid we had a bush hog that did 2 rows hooked to the 560 with a 10' disk and ring roller behind it.
