24-D Question

I bought a gallon of Gordon's LV400 24-D several weeks ago and just recently opened it and it looks like a vanilla milk shake inside real white. Did they change the color of 24-D does anyone know?

LV actually has ester in it. It has an oil base that makes the structure different from straight 2 4-D.It does work great on pastures. For lawns the best is TRIMEC Classic.

2 different kinds. The 400 as I recall is white and the other is opaque brown which my suppliers have carried over the years and is cheaper. My retailer is now handling both kinds, with the 400 being 50% higher priced. I started mixing 50-50 for a 1-2% mix and the results are amazing. If you look at the applicability tables there are lots of similarities in weed control, but differences also. I guess those differences are what makes it worth the extra money to me.
