Working on big tree again, kind of hard on old man of 74!

For the sake of the "heritage" in the tree and connection to the farm history you should have some of that made into boards and then have something made from the boards (table, bench, gun cabinet, even just a picture frame and then a photo of the tree etc.).

Tha5 is one b8g tree. I have a 6hp mc culloch 1000 with a 4 1/2 foot long bar on it. Can I come over and play?

You could make foot stools from the tree. I made 16 the year I retired for the kids & G kids and sold 1 or 2,

This is the half that went into bean field, I'm going to cut out a couple of logs from the other half that fell in the woods to save. Going to put big bar on the Husky tomorrow and go at it again.

Cut a chunk lengthwise where it flares out, long enough to make a gun stock, wood should show a nice kurl
