cycle grinder

Earlier post got me to thinking about what I had in the shed. The grinding stones were part of the topic.

Don't you mean sickle bar grinder?? I sure can not see grinding a cycle be it bike cycle or motorcycle. LOL

By the way I have one of those grinding stones hanging on the wall of one of my put buildings

Your right arm would get kind of tired sharpening a 30 sickle. I suppose the longest sickle at the time that sharpener was made might have been 10' but probably most were in the 5'-8' range so it wouldn't take too long to do one. Thanks for the pictures.

Old, you should not be the one to make fun of other peoples' misspelled words. Almost every
time you respond you have words that are not spelled right. Even in your response to Bruce's post, you misspelled bicycle. I'm not trying to be mean, but you need to be more respectful.

(quoted from post at 19:26:08 10/26/16) I am having difficulty in understanding what (put buildings) are, I have never heard of them before.

I believe that a put building is one of those that is put up with second hand building materials, that looks like it may be intended as a garage, but is really where you just put stuff that you don't currently have a use for and actually never will. Stuff is put in but never taken out.

You spelled the word cycle right but your asking about a sickle bar grinder. So spell check would not help.

I was just joking with you since yes I knew what you where asking just letting you know the correct term.

#1 I was talking to him not you and it was a joking talk.

#2 Cycle is a correct spelling of the word but not the correct word for his question and again as I said I was joking with him and trying to correct his term.

#3 as for me miss spelling thing when I do spell check does not catch it so it most not be spell wrong or it is the incorrect word.

#4 Cycle and sickle are two different word with two different meanings

Put should have been out but spell check did not catch it since it was a correct spelling of another word but as I said I was joking with you about the word cycle instead of sickle
