Forecast was cold, windy, rainy - up to an inch of rain. Started snowing around the lunch hour, and now it is accumulating. Central Michigan, NW of Edmore. Harbinger of things to come?

I've got a little on the deck rail and the mailbox. Could be worse I guess. It's not inches on the ground.

Just a wee bit here, Ray! Not accumulating at this time. Having a nice cozy day in the office catching up on those extension returns that folks just couldn't seem to get here on time.

You keep on using language like that on this site and they'll bounce you for sure. None of that talk until AFTER Halloween!

I agree with wisbaker below. Bite your tongue, man.
There's wimmens and childrens on this site and we don't tolerate bad language like that.

It has just started spitting flakes up here west of Traverse City mixed with the rain that began about 1:00 pm. I am not impressed! Have lots of outside work to do and had hernia surgery last week and am still not able to do much. Fortunately the forecast is for it to warm up some in the coming days.

Go easy on that surgery. I had it back this spring. After first few days things went well. Just don't push it for a few weeks.

Been snowing here since noon and I just came from Kalkaska. South of Kalkaska to lake City the ground is white. The slush that was coming down has turned to big white flakes

Easily an inch on the ground here near Edmore at 4 pm. Trees in sheltered spots also covered. Wish I could post pictures off my phone.

Fresh snow...5"...North Western Alberta.........600 miles North of the Washington Sate border....

I have been taking it easy, trying to follow the Dr.'s orders, plus for a few days it hurt! It is getting better every day, but I do know its there.

John Deere D,

I hate to see that white stuff... but it sure makes for some pretty pictures. Like your old tractor.

Just under one inch of rain down here by the border today, glad you kept the snow up there, could have been quite the accumulation. We need to get the rest of our grapes harvested this week- sugar content is too low, was hoping for some warm dry weather to finish them off. the harvesters called tonight, may be here before dawn. I did make an emergency trip to Big Rapids Monday night to help out the son stranded at school, felt just about cold enough to snow, but he assured me it would hold off for a few weeks!

Record highs in AZ. It was 85* in the shade at my home in SE AZ today. Deer season coming up. I remember hunting in the snow and rain in years past. It has been very warm this time of year for several years now. Meat has to be gotten home and cooled very quickly.
