Griswold Iowa plow day last Saturday

Met a farmer friend at the plow day north of Griswold Iowa Saturday morning. The farm had a large collection of Ford and IH stuff-at least 4 buildings worth! I think you will like this one-placard said only 52 built, contracted with Oliver to build-it is an Oliver 25 model with Ford color, decals and motor.

 
Yes, it is only 1 hour away. Farmer friend drove his JD4020 from near Stanton and that took him 1.5 hours!
 
Thats a 611 Ford combine..Heres a picture of mine sitting where I purchased it in St Joseph,KS..I believe that more than 52 were built..

I was there for awhile. A friend of mine had a little trouble with a rear tire on his F20. He drove that F20 and plow all the way from Red Oak.
 
Now wait here, if it was an hour away as you say and he drove an hour and a half he was past the place. Wilson old fart that can
see no reason to give distance in time unless it literally out of this world. IE light years. Whats wrong with miles so someone
really knows what is being said!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I drove an hour east in my truck. My farmer friend drove an hour and a half north on his tractor. Sorry, I did not pay attention to miles...!
 
I was there with Roger Cerven, who is a cousin of that gent with the slipped sneaker on the F20! He seemed well equipped to fix that right there...!

When your good friend and fellow plow day attendee owns the tire store, things get done.

It's just amazing to watch how all those guys will jump in to help when their is trouble. You'd think they were all farmers or something.
