Looks like I get the day off tomorrow near Wapakoneta so of anyone near there would like to meet to tell tractor stories I'm up for it. Looks like Gene Dotson, 16/30oilpull, mongo6318, R Aiken, GaryH, Leroy, and David Salway are close, but others might be within driving distance too. I've met Leroy already. So if anyone wants to meet to swap stories, or offer a tour I would be happy to drive out. You can call me at 320 492 9077 or leave a message here.

Jon I am up for meeting you again if you feel like it. Just tell me time and place. Gene and Rick (16-30oil pull are friends of mine, I have met Richard (R) Aiken Don't know mongo or GaryH. The name David Salway I think I might know him but not sure. Good Waffel House in Wapak and truck parking close by. I know Gene has had some health problems lately. Just yesterday I think I asked on a different post if you had been back to Lima. Lester

Traveled to that area from western Minnesota about 12 years ago. Highlight was going to Neil Armstrong museum. Was the one and only time in my life I saw a "Moon Rock" Nice farming area. If I ever get to Ohio again, I want to visit Louis Bromfield's farm. Have fun!

Looks like I'm going to see R Aikin and Gene Dotson so far. I do get up there to p+g quite a bit and will meet with you again one of those days. Looking forward to meeting new folks today.

I'm not too far from Louis Bromfield's farm. I have hauled a few of my tractors to the tractors show there in the past. Not sure if they still have it ? They have a big craft show at the same time. Also were plowing with horses. Nice scenery down that way. They have restored the large barn on the farm. The house was always locked up when I was there. I don't know if they ever hold tours of it. Went there when my boy was in cub scouts they had a tour of the maple syrup farm. They had displays set up from the old Indian way of making it up to more modern ways with pipe line in the woods. They also have had reinactors setup and stay there for a few days in teepees and old tents.
So pretty much you would have to go when some special event was going on to see much.
