I have recently bought a Ford 2000. Looking for a correctly sized top ling for a 5 ft Bush Hog. A class 2 (blue one) is to wide to fit into the 'tractor side'. Recommendations?
New to this stuff, any education appreciated.

A Ford 2000 with be a cat 1 3 point and any farm and home store will have a center link that will work just fine. The center links are pretty much 3 sizes or so. Cat 0, cat 1 and cat 2. So you need a cat 1 which is determined by the pin size you use

Just get out your grinder and grind it off till it fits. TSC Cat-1s are what I have been using and I have to grind them too. I have width and depth problems with mine.

I did that last night...As a professor once told me, 'Sometimes, nothing works like violence'.

You'd be surprised just how right he was. I have resulted to that on a few occasions and it worked when nothing else would.
