Wisconsin engine question.

I have been working on a I.H. skid steer loader with these past years. I have a Wisconsin air cooled engine that powers it. What I need to know is what size the battery should be to fit the back. I know it is a 12 volt battery (I think). Is it a battery that I have to special order or can I try an auto parts store. Thank you

What model is that. I had one which I believe was a 3300 and I used a heavy 12 volt battery in it. I may have the owners manual for it yet if I did not throw it away

Are you going to use it in cold weather? If so, get the most powerful one that will fit in the box, otherwise, like someone else said, they turn over fairly easy. There may be different post layouts that would fit your cables the best.

Nothing special, I would want 700 cold cranking amps or so, what size will your battery box hold? measure and buy the biggest amp that will fit.

This is a 3200 series I.H. skid steer loader. I have some books but if you have books on a 3300 series how much are you asking for them. I do not mind having more stuff to read and refer to. Thanks Brent
