Any storm damage in your neck of the woods? Nothing here. In fact the sun has been shining all day. A little breezy but very nice outside. Hope you guys get through this with no problems. Supposed to be worse on Saturday, Good luck.

Mostly rain and wind damage to my person! My daughter called around first light, and got me out . She was leaving the drive, to go to work, and spotted one of my angus cows, giving birth, and called me. It was raining hard, and blowing, but she chose to have a calf outside, anyway. I had on boots and raincoat, but still got soaked. I got the little heifer up and dried off, after wrestling the slimey, little critter over to the hay shed. I thought mama was going to butt me around some, but finally she settled down. When I finally got the little heifer nursing, I went to the house, dried off, and had my first cup of coffee. I sure hate to start work, without some coffee. I found a stack of T one 11, siding, had been scattered, by the wind, but no trees or limbs were down YET! Started getting vicious again, just before dark tonight, with a metal roof, I can hear quite a symphony.

Nothing but wet. I was lucky enough to spend Thursday inside writing reports and Friday was pretty tame. I put my chainsaw in the rig just in case, but no need. Had to tighten the gutters on the barn and clean one downspout, again nothing but wet. Saturday will be the test I think. My sons girlfriend is a nurse in Tillamook and they had all sorts of alerts yesterday but all the damage was north of her. I plan to stay inside writing reports or in the shop doing vehicle maintenance. I have big spruce in the backyard over 4 ft in the butt and I worry about that in the high winds.
Thanks for checking!

Pretty much the same here. Sun came out with some wind. Mowed the lawn and then made sure everything was all in place and wouldn't blow to the neighbors. Ralph, did you get your field planted? worked some ground but never got to finish it.

Yes, I spread some new seed, with not much tillage to speak of. I picked up most of the rocks, then scratched up the ground with the disc, and harrow behind the disc. It was still dry, and didn't do much. I used an international drop spreader, and spread my seed, then went back and picked up more rocks, that came to the surface. The rain I wanted, waited till now, and I hope it will germinate, if it's not too cold. The old grass is greening up, so I hope my seed takes hold. I want to put on some lime this winter, also.

Heard there was a tornado up by Tillamook
