Pics from around house and farm today

Fall colors are about at peak around here. Had a hard frost this morning, but temps rebounded into lower 60s today.
I mowed the lawn/field across the road again this afternoon, and then went up to dump off some lower tree limbs that I trimed off the white burches in front of the house.
One of the uncles started fall plowing today. After makeing some repairs to the 2166 combine this morning my cousin took over operating it. He was gone for a long weekend, and his 82yro dad was determined to start combineing yesterday. He is bullheaded and thinks he knows more than the combine and won't use the auto header controls. It is not a bulldozer. Kevin got the semi loaded today and I brought it back to the farmstead.

Nice photos, I see you use the little bucket legs to remove the KUBOTA loader. Not a bad set up after one learns how..LOL Sold a lot of hoods to the folks that did not learn.

That a mighty fine looking place. Thanks for the pics. I like to see pics from other parts of the country in these type of settings.

I have an L2501 I purchased last year. Do tell me about the loader removal and hood problem? I've never removed my loader so I don't know. Thanks.

That loader gets put on and taken off a lot. I had the loader on yesterday to move some stone and pavers. Took it back off today to mow. I hate mowing with the loader on. Tomarrow the loader goes back on and the mower deck will be taken out from under the tractor so I can load some dirt.

I see your lense covers are starting to stick. Go buy some 190 proof grain at the local liquor store and use a Q tip to clean them gently. Usualy works . That is what camera repair shops use. Works on your glasses, inside of your cars glass, pirate spy glass, etc. Nikon cool pix?

Purdy country (as said before), nice to have time to just wander about and shoot nice pics. You need a job or a real hobby man ! Mega Grinn !! ;^)

Here is how it looks in the Catskills. Colors about peak also. As I said it's been dry notice the ash trees on the fence row, the leaves just dried up and fell off in dry areas.

Just showed the pictures to my eife. Before I got to the bottom, she says they have to be Loren's!! Great pictures, thanks!!

It always surprises me that so many midwesterners do not realize how beautiful and rural upstate New York really is.
When a guy recently talked about "New York values" I assumed he had never been there. I love New York, but it is a bit cold for my old bones.

I spent many a wonderful fall day chasing grouse and woodcock through the NY woods.

Beautiful country your way Loren! Are you going to get any "farmin'" time with the sweet lookin' 931 this fall? Thanks for the pics.

. Loren you gotta stop with the pictures. It makes me wanna move back up there. LOL I don't miss it so much until I see your pictures. I know that it won't be long and I'll be glad to be here in Fl. The fall of the year was always my favorite time. Silo filling and the great big tomato sandwiches and steel grapes out of the arbors and apples , Boy do you make me miss all of that. LOL Jack
