The uncles were a bit shorthanded today. Being that both are 80 plus, they don't climb around on a combine very well to service and maintain it.
My son doesn't work on Mondays, and he ended up helping them put the finishing touches on the 2166 combine. I road up with him after lunch to see if everything was going well. Beans were testing 11.8 to 12.1 in 3 moisture tests out of the combine bin. Beans are small, but lots of them.
They needed the semi moved up to the field so I got picked to drive it up there. Been a few years since I piloted one of these. My backing skills on the blind side need some polishing. HeHe, but I gotter where it needed to be.
