How do I reset the "Maintenance required" warning light on a 2007 Toyota Tacoma. I did all the service work but can't figure out how to reset the light. Nothing in the owners manual about it.
thanks.

When I looked to reset my Toyota Corolla after my husband did an oil change, I had trouble finding instructions that made sense. Everything I found made reference to a trip-meter rather than calling it "Display" button which is the word that's actually the name for that button.

So in case your pickup is similar to our car, here are INSTRUCTIONS FROM OUR MECHANIC:

Insert key in ignition (leave it in the OFF position).

Press & hold down the Display button (mine is on lower/left side of steering wheel).

While continuing to hold down the Display button, turn key ON to accessory position.

Continue holding the Display button down until all of the "dash lines" disappear one-by-one from the display on your dash.

Let go of Display button and turn key to OFF position. It's reset now.
