I have a 58 super delta. The problem I have is how do you check the fluid level in the rear end of my tractor. The transmission has a plug on the side to check it's level but I kind find where to check rear end level. I know where to put it in and let it out but it has a small leak that I am getting repaired in spring. But I don't want to drain all out so I know how much is in it. I can see down the fill hole. Any help would be appreciated.

If you follow the "V" of the PTO lever and clutch pedal in this picture you will see the level plug, a square
headed plug in the side of the case.

Just to add, there is no such thing as a 1958 Super Dexta, the Super Dexta did not make an appearance until 1962 and was fitted with a Minimec injection pump and dif. lock. The Dexta did not get either until 1963.
