Around here if you let a piece of ground lay out for 30 day you would have sunflowers, horse weeds and sweet clover as tall as the back tires on that tractor. Don't know how you all keep a place so clean.

Looks like that soil is easy to plow. I'd have a hard time getting used to plowing all those contours. All of our land was laid out in fields a half mile long by whatever width we wanted. No trees or other obstuctions; just straight, flat land.

its a mix of clay and limestone shale in that spot,most of the ground in the ares is limestome shale,,there is some flat rocks too
