Rear tire pressure

What would you run for tire pressure in 15.5 x 38, tires are loaded, cast iron and hauls bales on rear?

Can't say I check as the tires are fluid filled, but we run just so they don't have to much squat. If pulling a plow, we make sure the sidewalls aren't buckling.

I look at the tire and when it has a slight bulge that's what I run. 18ish is where most of them are with a little more in the fronts without a loader. With, I set them for a slight bulge with a bale of hay on the spike. My back is #1. The tires will just have to go-with-the-flow.

I would be running 14-18 depending on load. It sounds like your use would want towards the upper end.

WOULD not every tractor need a slightly different psi pending on the total load???? under- inflation is hard on the sidewalls, over inflation does not let the tread run flat on the ground and you loose traction. at least on bias belted tires.

I always inflate on hard ground till the outside tread just starts to rise off the ground and back it up a bit. This can be adjusted a bit pending on the equipment running on the rear.
