Hyundai/Ez-Go Golf Cart -Which part runs the accelerator ?

I took some pics under the seat of the old Hyundai Golf Cart I got and can't figure out which part runs the accelarator?
When I put it in forward it GOES wide open!
Same thing in reverse!
Any idea what is wrong or which part I need to replace?
One pic is of a "plug-in" that has melted do you know where it goes? ..
