Thought I would share with you all the video I took at the 2016 Dalton, MN Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen's Reunion Show... Lot's of Steam and large Kero/Gas tractors, a steam crane (hoist and derrick), a small french steam locomotive, and a lot of nice displays. Lots of nice tractors as well.

Enjoy.

On that Case SC you're looking over @17:45, do you know if those lower fender brackets are cast, or just steel flat stock stamped to go around the axle housing? On my '41 DC, I have the loader brackets, and need to find the original lower brackets, or make some if it's just flat bar.

Nice video, thanks for sharing.

One of the guys who runs the train is really proud this year. He 20-21 year old grand daughter who has been helping him for years passed all her stuff to run the train.

What's the serial # for the M you are looking for? I know of several around here and I can check.

That is quite an accomplishment - and it is great to see those of my generation getting involved. Throughout the video I found myself in crowds of students (probably 5th-8th grade) who were on a field trip with their local school. Great to see schools introducing the young kids to this stuff,

The M I am looking for was my grandfathers - Serial number 13639 (makes it a 1940). I just want to let the guy know that if he ever wants to sell it to let me know. I'd like to get it back someday. Heck, I would even trade my '47 M that I am working on for it. (Picture is of Grandpa's M).

I don't recall on the '41 SC that I saw at the show if they were cast or made out of flat stock, but on my 1941 Case SC they are made out of 1 1/2" x 3/8" flat stock.

That's perfect, thanks. I can make those up no problem. I have the same cast upper brackets, whereas I see the later ones used a large saddle clamp that the fender stands sit on top of.
