In the throws of last winter you kept us abreast of your exercise regimen. I recall you made comment of being able to pitch more bundles at your show. While you've kept us updated on your ups and downs of the season I don't recall hearing about your bundle pitching. How did it go?

Rr didn't get a chance to pitch bundles at the Blanchard show this year. I had a complete crop failure. No crop - no bundles - no pitching bundles. Am disappointed on so many levels. No rain when needed, rain when not needed, weather damage, wildlife damage...

There weren't any to pitch. RayP's oats failed and so did Dave's,so there wasn't even a back up.
I missed pretty much the whole month of August on the elliptical because of the trouble with my legs. I started up again last week, doing five minutes a day. I've done eight minutes a day so far this week. I could do the 15 alright, but I don't know what it would do to me later on. I'm back to about 80%. I still get pretty stiffened up if I sit too long, like raking hay.

Ah NUTS! A year without bundles makes it hard to do a threshing show. I'll think about you next week when we're pitching at junkshow in Albany.

We'll hope for better growing weather next year. I don't even have any that I can sell to Ray. I cut what I could of mine, the stuff that would go through the combine. I piled it in the bunker silo and it got so hot from the weed seeds that it didn't even sprout on top.
