Has anyone heard of a Zebra Model 3522 diesel tractor? One is coming up on auction shortly.

Not that I'm interested in buying it, I'd just never heard of it before.

Goose here is the information on the Zebra brand. I know little about them. I do know about American Jawa. I have had to deal with them in the past on Zetor tractors. American Jawa was the importer for all the Zetor sold in North America. I would NOT trust American Jawa as far as I could throw them. They got into a major law suit with TYM and they lost. I am not sure that American Jawa is still in business. The Zebra was a tractor American Jawa had built to look like Zetors. The tractor has Nothing to do with Zetor. So parts are tough to get for the Zebra tractors.

"The Zebra brand was used in North America by American Jawa, a Zetor tractor importer, in the mid-1990s. There is no actual relationship between the tractor brand Zebra and the Zetor company. Zebra tractors were a combination of Czechoslovakian-built tractors and Indian-built tractors from HMT. Americian Jawa eventually became a North American TYM importer."

I had a Zebra 3520 which is almost the same as the 3522 for about 10 years bought it cheap when it only had 200 hours put about 2000 more hours on it mostly mowing hay.I liked it
rode and handled good its almost an exact clone of a Zetor Model and when I had to get an injection line that cracked it was actually for the Zetor. I sold it to a dairy farmer in PA
that loved them he used them to scrape in his the dairy barn said he had 9000 hrs on one and the engine hadn't been touched.I know the one I had would start right up when it was
20 degrees with no heater or starting fluid about the best starting diesel I've ever owned.Electrical system was terrible but a one wire alternator fixed that. For the right money
I'd buy the one in the picture in a heartbeat, thats the original rear tires so it couldn't have too many hrs on it.The one I had was built in India, never leaked or burned oil either.

Without looking at the auction bill again, I think this one has only 400+ hours. Wonder what the hp is.

I may have to go to that auction.

Think mine was 35 HP.Knock on wood I've had good luck with 'off brand' tractors just got to buy them at a price you can take a chance on.Those are also extremely fuel efficient.
8 speeds forward 2 reverse,power steering

I have a zebra 3520 I bought for 800 bucks at an auction, bid on it because it was cheap and had good tires, I was going to resell it but never have. Its a bullet proof little bush hogging and general chore tractor, runs all day on a shot glass of fuel and is light to haul around on a bumper pull trailer.
