Don't honestly know, but I would suspect out. I was wrong on a Tuesday in 1982. ;^)

Turn Tee handle CCW(out) to turn on fuel.

Well all I know is that AC's are set up both ways...

Knob in. AC is the only ones I know of the out is on. On All the JD stuff I know of the killer is in for on and out for off.

You are correct...same as my AC 170/175's. She is up and running. Turns out it was just a hole rubbed thru the line from the tank. A piece of rubber hose and 15 minutes and it was fixed....guess the other 5 hours removing and messing with the tank was just practice.
