seeing the pic of the oliver 88, did the super 88 have side curtains ??

Super 88 didn't have the full louvered side curtains. The supers had a partial cover at the engine sides, leaving most of that space open.

Dad bought a brand new 1957 super 88 and mounted a two row picker on it, it came brand new with full sized louvered side curtains.

   Early tractors with mounted corn had engine side panels to prevent fires from the dry leaves and stalks getting on the hot exhaust.   The Super series Oliver tractors did not have the full engine covers from the factory, dealer could have installed them.
