I am looking at a Allis Chalmers c with a full set of two row cultivators. What is the minimum and maximum row spacing this tractor will cultivate? Thanks in advance!

out to 38 or 40. 38 was common in those days. Not sure it will go to 30" Do some measureing. If it is a'bar' cultivator,it
should go down to 22"

I doubt that you could get the front sections down to 30 inch spacing. Ours was used at 40 inches, and depending on type of shank support, could be adjusted smaller, but the shanks might still interfere with clearance under the engine.

i hope it will got down to 36" at least, plan to cultivate sunflowers with it. What do do you mean bar cultivator type? I have pictures if I knew how to load them on here

I"m thinking Delta Red, with his bar cultivator comment, is referring to a rear mount....which would allow for much closer shank spacing. The C cultivator has two front mount units, plus a rear bar which runs shovels in the center and behind the wheels. It also can carry another two sets of shanks to make it into a field cultivator. That rear bar could be set up to handle various row widths.
