Do your deer like to eat the tops like Indiana deer do?

My deer like to come to the gravel pit and have a salad consisting of sunflowers, hostas, and even surprise lilies after they have eaten neighbors sweet corn. Does that sound like healthy eating to you?

We had some of the giant sunflowers a couple years ago and had many that were 12 ft tall. The second year we planted them the deer ate them as fast as they came up. This year we have some south of the border deer. I had hot pepper plants and they were loaded with little peppers. Last week the deer ate the plants and all but were nice enough to leave the stems

They say you are what you eat. If you supply the deer with a healthy diet, they will taste better when you cook them. Feed them well.

Larry, what is the name of that sunflower. I showed my wife your pictures and likes those. The ones she planted this year in in the garden and in her flower garden got 13 feet tall. I know they are several different kinds of sunflowers.I was just wondering what kind yours are..
