what is the gear shift pattern on a AC WC?

I just googled that, and came up with a pattern, might be correct, might not. Go ahead and try that approach.

Sitting on the seat 1st all the way to the left and up 2nd all the way to the left and down, 3d center and up, 4th center and down. Reverse will be all the way to the right and down

The patter is right on the top of the transmission so if it is clean you should be able to read it. I could go out and look on my WD45 but i is to hot out to do that LOL

Yep many of them are so that is why I said it was thee that way maybe he will clean it off then he will know for sure

To get to reverse, if things are working properly, you also need to squeeze the tab on the gear shifter to let the shifter swing all the way to the right. Tab is there to limit travel, to make it easier to find 3 and 4.
