95 f250 parking brake cable

I snapped the parking brake cable right under the cab on my truck this winter while on a hay delivery. It's the one that hooks to the equalizer for the rear cables, so I'm guessing this is the intermediate cable?

It's a regular cab long box. Not sure what the wheel base is, and it's too late/dark to go outside and measure. Any one know what the wheel base is? Rock auto has the cable cheap enough, I just need the right length...

Don't like ordering the wrong part and having to send it back, and I need to order a few other parts for that, my wife's van, etc... so I figured for the price I'd have them throw it in the box too.

And yes, at least up until when I snapped the cable in March/April of this year, my parking brake actually worked...

That never works for me with Rock, it seems like almost every item on the order gets drop shipped or shipped from a different warehouse and I get charged shipping for each box, often can be a deal-breaker on buying from them, or locally.

When searching, if you have something in your cart already they have an icon by items that are at the same warehouse. Seems to work for me as long as I pay attention when doing an order. I have an order right now that's a little over $100, and so far everything is shipping from the same place. It may change with a few more things I want to add, but the others are light enough it shouldn't hurt too badly either way.

Here is what I would do: (Not that it's necessarily right.....)
Aftermarket brake cables are notoriously bad. I'd try hard to get a genuine Ford part number back on your truck.
With your VIN number in hand, go to your local, friendly Ford dealer. Ask the parts man for the brake cable. Of course, they won't have it and it's probably LONG been discontinued, but we already know that, don't we? When he tells you that it's no longer available, politely ask him for the part number. (He may tell you that so-and-so dealer has one in stock, 500 miles away, and he may not) With the part number written down, type that number in Google. Ebay might have it, and they might not. Then go to "Green Sales". This isn't Green Ford, it's "Green Sales". They specialize in discontinued Ford part numbers.
Good luck.

Without seeing your trk it should 133" wb. Without seeing the broken cable
& assuming that only need the extension cable & not the FRT cable it should be a F6TZ2A793KA.
I'm thinking around 52" long.

I just went through this on my 81 f350.
Don't you just hate it when you enter all the info and it brings up all sorts of things that are not even close to your truck !
I got the rear cables from 2 different vendors ? They seemed to match close enough to my old ones but now after installed one seems too long and my equalizer is really crooked. Seems to work ? Mine were still working ,though I don't know how after I pulled them out one was pretty frayed.

That's exactly what I needed. I figure I should probably replace the front cable too, as the connector is rusted solid and I don't see a way of fixing it that's any quicker than replacing another $12 cable with new connector hardware.

I punched in the number on rock auto and it came up with a Dorman cable. Good enough for me. Kinda funny, cables with the same description vary in length by about an inch or so. Guess we'll find out what kind of difference it makes...

If the sticker is still in the drivers door jamb, the wheel base is listed on that sticker under the "WB". I believe it was in the lower left corner of sticker.
