Ariens HT 16 steering wheel removal.

I had this on the garden tractor forum but nobody responded. Decided to take it to the ones who know. How do you remove a steering wheel from an Ariens HT 16 model lawn tractor. I removed the roll pin and it doesn't budge. The center of the wheel has a depression in it, but no nut. ????

It is rusted on. You will need to use a puller to get it off. Many times I have had to actually cut the steering wheel hub off the steering shaft. This ruins the steering wheel.

I take a round nose bit on an air chisel and hammer the center of the shaft while pulling up with my other hand on the steering wheel as close to the center as I can get a hold of it.
Usually they'll pop right off.
