Trying to fix steering on my ford tractor steering, keeps blowing gasket.

If it has blown the gasket more than once I would say there is a leak internally that is allowing high pressure oil into the low pressure side. So look deeper for another leak.

I was told that there is a pressure relief valve in the gear box. I need to know how to remove it. Do I remove the pitman arm?

Post that question down on the Ford forum. I have never worked on a Ford 5600 but have worked on many other steering boxes and they usually only blow gaskets when high pressure oil is not where it is supposed to be.
