D grader with tractomotive loader

Ever see an Allis Chalmers D grader with a rear mounted Tractomotive loader? Would like to learn more about it. Seems like an odd combination.

Transmission and clutch were the weakness of a D grader, can,t think one would last long with any kind of loader and having to use it backwards would be another negative, but no I have never seen such.

Driving up through N central PA this past spring I saw one well off the west side of the road. It's the only one I've ever seen. I was so surprised I wanted my buddy(driving) to pull over and take a look. Normally he would be interested as well. But he wasn't that day.

One came thru the shop in Corpus Christi, Tx back in the early 80's. Never paid any attention to it. Never saw another one. Allis Chalmers wasn't afraid to experiment, TL 12 with the tire in a drum as part of the powertrain acting like a torque limiter was another one.
