I pulled the fire out yesterday, with the Brush Hog,never had it stop so fast. It was a hot temperature outside no heat in the motor,Oil pressure 45, But when I tried to re start, clutch in and everything else out of gear,no oil pressure on the Gage.and it turned over like it had the plugs out, real fast, just kept turning no fire. This gal has always started on the first hit of the button.Could something have snapped on the timing side? any comments toward this is needed. thanks Jim

What tractor? What is "pulled the fire out" I do not understant that phrase. If it spins like it has no compression, check the compreaaion. Id none, you
probably broke the cam drive, or cam shaft! Jim

Sorry new at this,Tractor 9N, always has oil pressure when cranking at least 20lbs. I just needed to now where to start, your idea confirmed that. thanks

Not sure what you are trying to describe either. When you do get it running, make sure you have an overrunning clutch on the PTO before using again. Spinning mowers can do bad things to an N when stopping to quickly without one.

ever to old to pick up something,Overrunning clutch? I will check that out I have the front end coming off with tank, and have a suspicion that the fiber timing wheel could be to blame. hoping will find out later.
