Hydraulic remotes on International farmall 706

At my wits end trying to figure this out. Have a International 706 with cab. I have 3 sets of factory auxillary hydraulics. Until now havent needed them but purchased a frontend loader. Have plugged the loader into every set of auxillary hydraulics and have no pressure on any of them. Power steering is great, and the 3 point lift will hold a 10 ft bushhog up all day. I tried engaging the pto, lift arms up and everything I can think of, but for some reason I have no pressure on any of the remotes. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Trying to figure this out without having to haul it to nearest tractor repairman 1 hr away.

Give this question a shout on the Farmall forum where the IH experts lurk. I can pretty much guarantee they can help you.

Are the couplings compatible? Are you sure you are not plugging into pressure side of one outlet and return side of another outlet? Are you sure you are not plugging hose from tilt cylinder and hose from
lift cylinder into same outlet? Can you here tractor labor a little or maybe a hyd. humming sound when you move lever? That would tell you there is pressure to the outlets but just not hooked up right.

No tractor isnt laboring at all. No pulsing hydraulic lines or anything. Have hooked lines and reversed every combination. Just seems funny that 3 point arms work but no pressure to any of the 3 remote locations.

You say three valves. IH Farmall only had two valves so if you have three, some one added another and that may well be your problem. It would be a plumbing issue on that third valve which just recirculates the oil to dump. Now, if you are talking about the three valves being on a separate valve stack, not under the seat, that is a whole different issue. Would be interesting to see a picture of your valve set up.

IH tractors have 3 different pumps one for brakes and steering one for hitch and remotes and one for p.t.o. the inside
hyd. lever near the seat runs the rear remotes and left side remotes the out side lever runs the right side remotes on
the 56 series the front remotes were eliminated and both sets were run out the back .some thing i would check is that
you cant put the hitch lever all the way to the bottom this will slow and shut off the remotes leave the lever part way
up in the wider part of the quadrant

The hydraulic lever you speak of near the seat. Is that the same lever to raise and lower the 3 point arms? Or is it the lever kinda up under the seat on the right side if your sitting on tractor seat

the one up near the seat that runs the lift arms has to be up out very bottom or it will slow the remotes way down .
the one next to it on the out side is the draft control usually it should be in the middle or slightly toward the back
. but if it will hold up a heavy bush hog it is probally set right
