Stacking hay yesterday. Tonnage is way down due to no rain. :>(

allan , I would gladly give up some of the excess rain we keep getting blessed with, got more coming down rite now,gosh durn it ,.got up 1st lite this morning to plant the last 11 acres of beans , wanted to finis
last nite , but we got a fast shower that lookt like more was comin , but it quit , thank GOD, only got a 80 ft triangle left and need to X out the corners , when up jumpt the devil with another popcorn shower gave me a soaking before I made it to the house,. told my , Sara , I think if I would just get drunk , I would have a better sense of accomplishment ,,. no -no- no!!!
 
My wife doesn't understand it, but I sure like the appearance of a freshly "hayed" field before the bales are collected.

How's the new tractor working out?

100 miles East of you we're doing ok. Had enough rain in June that prarie hay grew well. Not the best hay crop I've seen but by far not the worst. We are able to get farther out into our low ground than we were a year ago too, so things are dry enough and we could use some more rain.
