New Tractor House

It's been almost a year since I have logged on here. We've been busy with moving, building a new house and garage, and then moving again once it was finished. Over the past year I have shoved farm tractors and equipment into several neighbors and relatives storage buildings until I finished my new shop. As you can see by the pics, we are getting closer.

Before we started

30x56x12 pole barn getting closer to being finished. It gets a 15x56 lean to on the backside, 2 garage doors, 2 tone color scheme, and double bubble foil insulation

To keep it tractor related...I used my JD 520 to prep the yard. The disc is too much for it, but I just wanted to lightly scratch the surface up before seeding it.

nice shed but i just have to ask why the odd size all pole barn steel covers 36 inches or 3 ft and a 56 ft. you got to cut 2 sheets [could get by with one] and if the roof dose not have a over hang you will have to cut that steel also. like the shed just wondering why that size?

I think it had more to do with the post spacing and lumber lengths. He wasn't worried about cutting the odd metal length at the end. 60' would have been ideal, but I dug as deep into my pocketbook as I could to get 56'. It originally was going to be 30x40 but I really wanted at least another 10'. So we upgraded.

Progress is moving a bit slow due to daily torrential downpours. But, we are getting there. Only things left to do are finish metal on front, trim, put metal on lean to shed, install garage doors, finish putting rock around it, and pour concrete out front.
