JUST want to say THANK YOU to ALL that respond to my post below { 46 years anniversary } ... I should of said that the Doc. told us { when wife was in hospital } not to figure on making our 25 ... then it was our 14 year ... so each and ever one is special to us ... sure show the Doc. didn't we .... lol

I missed your original post so I will take the opportunity to give you two my special congratulations now. You have faced a challenge so many people don't understand and it tugs at my heart strings. My mother was crippled by polio when she and dad had been married for three years. She was 26 years old. My sis was 18 months old, I was 6 months old at the time and she and I lived with other families till mom was strong enough to come home. We grew up helping her and because of that I instinctively reach out to help a physically challenged person. She passed away from cancer when she was 46 and dad remarried but I will never forget the struggles in my parents life when they were still so young.

Here is hoping you may enjoy many more blessed married years.
 
My late brother was married 5 times. He even came to a funeral with a new wife when one of his wives had died. Hal
