It does look like it's ready to be reborn. I tried to look up info on the 700 but tractordata skips from 641 to 741. Wanted to know how many were made & what year, must be in the early 50's I'm guessing.

The 700 was the row crop model of the 600, same engine etc.
Made from 1955-1958. Replaced in 1958 with the 701, which had a bigger carburetor and a bit more hp.
I don't know how many were built.

Thanks for posting that.
Like a good, honest woman there.
Some random thoughts.
Built from late 54 till late 57 I think.
Should be red chassis, gray hood, wheels and fenders. Little sister to the more popular 900. Far less common. Only came with NF till the end of production then could be had either NF or WF.
Never had anything but a 4 speed. Unlike the 900 could be had with 5 sp/lpto.
Informal polls on the Ford board say more guys would want a NF than WF.
I don't think they bumped up the 34 HP on the 134s like they did on the 172s. Hp stayed the same till the end of the 4 cylinder Fords in 1965. Could be wrong on that tho.
A good friend of mine has a 900.looks about that. Same color. Hometown CNH dealer had it on his lot for several years. Wouldn't take less than $3800 for it. Uh uh, no way.
Then they sold out to another dealer and auctioned off the equipment in the yard.
Tractors were going way overpriced but everybody must have blinked at the right time and my friend got it for $1700. Runs great, decent tires, PS, lpto.
