This weekend is the annual Boyne Thunder in Boyne City, Michigan. It is the congregation of the large, fastest, speed boats a person has ever seen in one spot anywhere. I don't understand it but many people do. I love looking at the tow vehicles and thinking how great they would be hauling tractors. Like a F650 Ford four door Super Cab with a pick up box on it. Most boats are inboards but I also saw several outboards, one with four, four hundred horse engines on it. A lot of million dollar toys here this weekend. They are scheduled for a poker run tomorrow. All I know about them is they go really fast and make a lot of noise. Anybody interested can come up and watch them this weekend.
