Bought this F-20 three or four years ago at a farm sale. Wouldn't start so had the mag worked on. The guy come by yesterday and put the mag on and timed it. It would start, but not keep running. This afternoon the boy took the carburetor off and cleaned it. Pulled on the crank and it started and purred like a kitten.

I've seen several all gussied up and painted pretty. I believe that she look beautiful just the way she is. She has a story to tell and the scars to prove that she survived. Great save. Enjoy your tractor. gobble

This picture is at the farm sale trying to get it running. The wife (widow) said it was running a year ago. It was built around July of 1936. After getting it home power washed some old grease off (stayed away from signage) and come to the conclusion it was painted black from factory. They must of run out of gray paint before painting them red. So not going to paint it. Dad bought a red one when I was 13 years old. Took air cleaner bowl off and full of new oil. The wife said that ever since her husband bought it, it was always parked in the east end of the cattle shed on the south side of the barn.
