Oh man, it ALL looks good!

We've had fresh onions - but that's it so far. The black-seeded Simpson lettuce is coming along nicely, cucumbers and tomatoes are starting to blossom... but it's going to be a long while yet.

The rest of the vegetables are pretty small plants yet in my garden.

Had zucchini for lunch, green, yellow and red peppers, onion and cut the kernels from an ear of corn. Chop everything fine, add 2 eggs, mix well add flour to coat, mix and then add corn meal, 2x more than flour. Steamed the corn and added it and some Mrs. Dash. Fry in a TBS of butter or oil until golden brown. Good as fritters or keep stirring, great with vine ripe tomato slices....James

Had a few radishes last night. That's the first from our garden. 'Maters are just nicely blossomed. Lettuce will be ready before too long. Will start hilling taters shortly.

Pulled the largest beets from two rows, made 16 pints of pickled beets. Should be at least that much again when they all finish. Also thinned the carrots and made a few pints to fill the canner. The rest are being eaten raw.

Finally got a few bunches of broccoli, I should have planted that along with the cauliflower and brussel sprouts when I put the potatoes in. Sweet corn is about 7 feet tall and making ears.

Been picking zucchini for a couple weeks and got our first cucumber. Picked the green beans for the third time last weekend, might get a few more tonight. They should be about played out. I think we've put up about 25 qts.

Going to dig two rows of Yukon gold potatoes tonight, need to come out of the ground. Going to take a 5 gal bucket of new potatoes to Dad in Montana this weekend.

We have 40 tomato plants loaded down at the big garden. The wife picked the first one at the house and has gotten a few grape tomatoes as well. It been a really good year for our garden! Its big but everything is being split with my niece's family. Sounds like everyone here has a good garden also.
