Hi all, my bride and I just got home from a nine day road trip to some points west. We toured Glacier National park, Smoke Jumpers training center. saw my brother's name on the board that he participated in 50 smoke jumps and 100 practice jumps, that was in 1967, died in 1976 in a farming accident. To keep this tractor related we looked up Bryce Frazier and I looked at his nice collection of tractors, met his mother visited a while and went on our way. Very nice young man and mother, too bad they live so far away, had a great trip. Conoco gas provided the best mileage of 5 different brands of gas, I drive a 2004 Grand Marquis, nice ride. Pete

Glad you had a good trip.

We had 3 vehicles back to back by Ford. They were all real picky about what brand gas worked best. A Town Car, and 2 LTD's. They all 3 got about 6 MPG better on mid grade too. Here the brands that worked best was Holiday, BP, Sinclair, Tesoro. Worst was Cenex. I did fill with Conoco a few times but that was always on trips when that was what was available. Never noticed and great loss of MPG or power when I did use it but locally just isn't available. From what I can find out it's all about the additive packages that those companies use and how much of each additive. Been driving Chevy's the last 8 years or so. Don't see much difference no matter where I buy gas.
