Battery Powered Grease Gun?

Long discussion last week on here, seemed like Dewalt came out on top. Myself I have two Milwalkee and they have been thru several years of abuses. The very first one was a 90 dollar one from Harbor Freight and believe it or not it still works also. Greasing a large hydraulic boom excavator without one is a chore. Like 35 fittings on the thing. I also have a Rino three flex finish mower thing that has several fittings. If you have never had one they sure save time. I have never owned the Dewalt so can not comment on them.

i have a lincoln for many years, still works good. heard the dewalt and milwaukee guns are real nice too.

None.
I have two Lincoln guns here and never gave me a problem , used them for a few years till all the batteries would not hold a charge. Went to replace the batteries and they want more for replacement batteries than I can buy a new gun for.
I wont do it. I am not accustomed to tossing good tools away. So , I went back to my air guns till the cost of batteries come down.
The air guns I have along with the pump ones are all Lincoln and are 30+ years old. The electric ones did make it near that long.

Budd we have a place called BATTERIES PLUS.. you take the old one in and they "rebuild it" something like 35 bucks for the 24 volt batteries.

Traditional Farmer,
I waited for dewalt to make a gun only because I already have dewalt batteries and charger. I bought only the gun. I haven't had an issue with my gun. Love it.

So buy the gun you have batteries for, because batteries will sooner or later take a dump.

BIL, bought all new cordless rigid tools from HD, because HD warranties not only the tool but batteries for life, providing you register and jump through all the hoops. Not sure if rigid makes guns, but if they did that would be something to consider if you don't have cordless tools.

Or if anyone has a lifetime battery that would be a strong argument to go that way. In my case I started buying dewalt cordless tools 25 years ago. Tools have held up for me. I have about every tool dewalt makes, $100's of dollars worth, so I'm stuck with yellow tools and have no regrets with tools, just hate their batteries, so I use aftermarket batteries.

What brand of cordless tools do you have? I bought a 18 volt Dewalt since that's what I have for most of my other cordless stuff. I am happy with it and the batteries are not much of a problem since I keep a number of them around.

Gun works great. Has a nice bleeder valve also.

Neighbors have Lincolns, I think they got through JD. I shopped and got a 12V Milwaukee. I like it better than the neighbors Lincolns. I don't know if Lincoln has anything handier now. Mine has feet and stands upright, with handle on top.

I don't own any Dewalt tools (no particular reason, just have never bought any) but I have been told more than once that the Lincoln grease guns use batteries that are the same as Dewalt, only are red instead of yellow. Perhaps someone knows for sure. Mike

The only other cordless tools I have are 18V Snapon just impacts and a couple flashlights.Using an air grease gun now works great but greasing hay equipment this time of year
means dragging a compressor all over the place.

I bought a dewalt a little over a year ago because I have other dewalt battery tools. This spring it started acting up. It would not pull grease from the cartridge anymore. I completely disassembled it, cleaned it and put it back together and it still dosent work. Its now in the junk barrel and I'm back to using my old manual Lincolns. I wouldn't recommend a dewalt grease gun because of my experience with them.

I have always wondered about one we have a john deere 12 row planter an the packer wheels are very hard to grease so I thought about trying one that would make it easier to grease
